Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Ronald Koeman has asked Everton’s board to push through a deal for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

The Blues have lodged a bid of around £20m for the 24-year-old Italian and talks have progressed well with the Serie A club.

Terms have been agreed in principle with Gabbiadini, who struck nine times last season, with Koeman making him his first-choice target after the Blues lost out on Lucas Perez to Arsenal.

But Napoli are holding out for a higher offer and are refusing to sanction any deal until they find a replacement for the Italy international, even though he has fallen down the pecking order at Stadio San Paolo in recent seasons.

I've said all along we'll be lucky to see a £20m net spend window.

I'm now expecting one out for around £15/20m and a couple in for around £40m.

And any players that come in will improve us Dave, regardless of net spend.

i.e. if McCarthy leaves, will replace him with somebody more suited to Koeman's system.

Part the problem in these windows is Sky. They promote rumour, hearsay and downright lies, while doing so they milk punters for all they've got by offering attractive odds for a none event..................that is corrupt as they profit all the way to the bank in the assured knowledge that the punter has backed a none starter

It is obviously not illegal but certainly unethical. Seemingly that counts for very little these days.

Not even a sniff of a signing.

Everton best be playing a blinder here and have three exciting players to present to us within the next 32 hours.

Not a sniff indeed. I don't think anyone called Moshiri turning up, and that went on for like 18 months according to the man himself. I think everyone was surprised as me, as we'd been thrown the scent of the complete opposite.

Everton are experts in surprise parties.

When they pull it off it's amazing.

The rest of the time you don't even know if they're organising one at all, and probably aren't, but that's the joy, it's a surprise...

.....only time will tell on that mate.

True. The early indications are that we would though - i.e. Gueye suits the high press game, Bolasie gives us a bit more power up top, Williams is a solid out-and-out defender.

As said, I like Jimmy Mac - from everything Koeman has said I think he does too - but he needs to do more when he's on the pitch, simple as.

The future of Manolo Gabbiadini probably performs will not be in England with the shirt of 'Everton. The English company, in fact, has just communicated to Naples that no longer wishes to ration the Italian striker born in 1991 as it is now past and has not been reached any agreementfor closing the deal.

The De Laurentiis company did not in fact intend to sell the player before finding his replacement and now registers the back Everton which has communicated its decision by mail. The company that plays in the Premier renounce Gabbiadini, the attacker's future remains to be defined.

Best ever was waking up moaning about having signed nobody and then seeing we had broke our transfer record to sign Fellaini for £15m.
BOOM out of nowhere.
