Everton Transfer Thread 2016

I wouldn't be overly disappointed if we didn't sign anyone else this window.. IMO the intention has been there from the club and early signs are recruitment has been spot on...

We could have easily spent that magic 100m and ended up with 4 worse signings than Stek, Williams, Gueye, and Bolasie.

It would be nice to add some depth. I think we have enough at the moment to rest 4/5 players in the cup and still have a decent side but a few injuries on top could hurt us massively.

I'll definitely be disappointed if we didn't add one or two more mate - we could definitely do with another striker and another midfielder would be useful if Clevs/McCarthy are leaving - one that offers a bit more of a goal-threat.

Overall though the window so far has been impressive given the affect the players we have signed have had

Because Zenit's boss has confirmed we made a bid and they accepted it, but Witsel turned us down.

People can't face that we were actually willing to spend money, and almost certainly still are.

Not too fussed about the willingness to spend money, all about if we actually do.

It isn't complex though mate: Stones was sold, we were told, so that wages are there for elite players. Yes, so far so good. But where are the elite players promised? They want high wages which are here for them. Moshiri and Koeman, we were told, would be the magnet.

Now if that has to be reassessed and stepped back from by the people making those claims they should clear their throats and do so if that window slams shut without significant improvement to our squad.

Hang on Dave.

While the Esk is sound, he doesn't work for the club. Nobody from the club has cited this as a reason.

Personally I think it's likely that it was the case/general intent, but we can't take it as fact.

At this moment in time, the bed wetters have the excuse makers on the ropes. The " let's wait till the end of the transfer window " is the last excuse left as the others have perished in battle

FFP and wages is stopping us - even though we had a period of time to get this sorted.

John Stones needs to be sold first!!

Paul Pogba transfer will start it all.

Nice terror attacks.

Euro's

Players on holiday after the Euro's

The last defence is " let's wait till the end of the window " that time is soon. The bedwetters tweets will block the Sun.

THIS IS MADNESS!!!! NO!!!! THIS IS TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY

We've recycled everything that came in of late. That was before Moshiri got here. In fact there was a net spend run up in the last couple of seasons.

We hava a billionaire in charge. Why, with squad space available and wages not a problem with the Stones sale, are we not seeing players in?

£3M negative net spend with just over a day to go in this window. I'm calling that an outrage right now.
Are you intentionally getting the math wrong? It's -400k only calculating Gueye which was disclosed and 24 for Bolasie and 9 for Williams. The lowest figures conceivable/put out in articles you can find.
