Recent reports emanating from the football world are indicating that Everton are going about their business in a professional manner and are not interested in media speculation.

Really no point in any panic now.

Just 2 and a bit days until everyone can feasibly pass judgement, and fume as appropriate.

We signed 3 players in a matter of an hour on TDD three seasons ago, and this time we're led to believe we have significant resources at our disposal.

This year, more than others, and for most clubs, things are building towards a crescendo on TDD.

Why worry when a) We can't control the outcome and b) That outcome will be known shortly.

..I'm not so sure the club have purposely left it late. All the indications are that we've been busy running up cul-de-sacs. I wonder if one or two of those open up in the next day or so.

We need a striker badly, and a midfielder with quality too if we're honest. Will be very disappointing if neither materialise.
