Everton Transfer Thread 2016

I'm not getting into an argument about semantics.

I expect the owner to invest in the club not gift the club anything. If he invests 300m in the club then he would expect shares in return, those extra shares would have to be released by the club thereby diluting everyone else down. Since the club is probably only worth 200m doing this would probably leave him with around 75%. That's the figure that reportedly he will jump up to so that's probably what will happen but as yet nothing has happened and now we're hearing rumors that's not what is going to happen. Who knows. We need to wait and see but currently he hasn't invested a penny and given the structure of the deal I'm not even to sure he can.

As for where my info came from. It came from esk who is a huge supporter and champion of Moshiri. Not someone with an axe to grind.

Is that now clear because this is boring me as well as I'm sure everyone else reading it.

Take the point this should be on another thread. Mosh ain't going to invest 300mil though. His 49% only cost him £85m.

On the other point, I haven't read Esk stating Moshiri hasn't put a penny in to the club. What matters though is that the funds available to the club are used wisely, and I believe moshiri will influence that.

If we see, say £50- £60m spent (net) this week on players, but you have no 'evidence' that a penny of it comes from Moshiri, I'd just be interested to know how you'd view that?

I'm sure you have no wish to be adversarial in any way, but Moshiri placed funds into the club earlier in the summer, considerably north of £50 million.

On your other point the club is in a far better place having no external debt, even if at the moment the debt repayment is by way of some form of loan from BBH.
So technically the club have still taken a loan?, even if it is from BBH it's still a loan isn't it?,

Any rumblings?

It might be considered splitting hairs but it's not. I'm just attempting to separate the two legal entities because the devil is always in the detail.

The market rate is only what clubs are willing to pay, and if there's a club who is willing to pay hart £140,000 a week ( reportedly) then more fools them, there is no way on gods earth is he worth that, and the proof will be when no one will be willing to pay that come dead line day, and he realizes no one is prepared to pay that, his demands will come down, that's of course if he wants first team footy. If someone is prepared to pay £140.000 a week then that's his market value but if someone is only prepared to pay £70,000 then that's his market value. As for the players we have supposedly bid for, if the club believe that their wage demands are excessive I for one am glad we did didn't pay it.

Hart won't 'lower his demands'. He has a contract for 135k a week (apparently). So that is what he will be getting paid. Only question is who pays it. May be a compromise at the end of the window with City agreeing to pay the 35k bit possibly.

Another zero net spend transfer window.

Fantastic.

We have really screwed up in this window. I feel sorry for all of those who still think we will splash the cash.
A whole lot of bleach is going to be consumed come TDD.

RON on HART

'No interest' (in signing him).

If that's a DQ then that's pretty well conclusive and JOE'll be washing his hair elsewhere and deffo not at GP.

Which is fine by me TBH.
