i always find talk sport presenters strongly state things as facts just to get people to call in - drives me mad.

They get on my moobs, they hate Everton and talk about us like we are a very small club the kopite melts, we need more sports stations.

Joe Hart is great.

TalkSport is horrendous though, but I've come to accept that they are just a bunch of carnies saying deliberately inflamatory stuff so people call in

Like yesterday, they asking the usual "Should Celtic be allowed in the CL?" question they ALWAYS ask when Celtic qualify, because they know a bunch of angry Celtic supporters will call in to complain about it

Once you come to that understanding, it actually becomes funny rather than anger inducing

That's the best way I'd suggest to listen to it

Don't like Colin Murray but impressed he's quitting the station because of it's affiliation with the S*n

Collymore did the same, which is a shame as I always liked him on there. Was one of the few pundits to actually speak favourably about Everton and fight our corner on occasion

The only time I ever listen to it is on the way home from work or on match days, so I'm mostly listening to Adrian Durham. He's the worlds most ginger WUM

The City games was on RTE television last night, I didn't watch it but after the game as I was running through the channels for something to watch I flicked it on for a while.
Liam Brady was talking about Hart, Stones, Pep and the future for City in general.
Of the Irish born television pundits Brady is the one that I think talks most sense. Dunphy is a basket case.

He has doubts that the system favoured by Guardiola will work in England. He has reservations about Stones and felt that last season at Everton he turned a lot of supporters against him by his insistence on playing his way out of trouble and being at least in part responsible for Everton conceding poor goals.

This is what I think, I don't buy it at all, Pep will encourage Stones to do the thing that he shouldnt of been doing in the first place, I hope he really comes unstuck. To not even give Hart the first half of the season and then change in the winter window if needed says a lot about him, just want them to fail and Hart to shine at Everton.

Pep's a winner.

He doesn't rate Hart, there's nothing malicious in that?

I do not wish to cause any offence, but please understand the point I am trying to convey.
I don't buy newspapers, and haven't done since long before The Hillsborough story in the S*n. But I do think a lot of media bods who have resigned out of protest to their new owners have done so as a protest against the paper, but do not go far enough in expressing all the reasons.
Why nobody comes out and says the git Piers Morgan is a git is beyond me.
After all, was he not the sports editor of that rag who presided in the printing of all those lies. It was he who authorised that bile, and it is really he who should now face the consequences.
It's controversial I know, I just think Morgan should be shown up for the horrible smug lying git he really is.
This is not directed at you Blue Cheese I hasten to add, nor do I want to appear to be unsympathetic to the wonderful Justice campaigners ,I just think Morgan has escaped the real wrath of the people for far too long.

there has to be more to him not wanting hart than him having poor distribution? bear in mind they have just paid 47m for a ball playing defender, surely you want your keeper to give it straight to Stones? that's about all the distribution you'd need? I wonder if it's more attitude or his perceived ego?

only if it's a permanent deal - i'd be gutted if he was ace for a season and then left after a year long loan
