The perception of Everton (especially in Europe) is still as a 'big' club mate.

Not as a top club that competes for the highest honours though (which we haven't done in years).

But there's a distinct difference.

yes because the swathes of rejects we have had so far says that.

To be honest why are we big in europe? Genuine question here as we have only won one trophy there in what 50 years? Why would we be seen as big there? In fact more to the point considering we haveb't been a top team in england since the 80's, i am sure people would have forgotton we existed ala all the other european teams that have faded away.

I just don't get this 'big in europe' point when we have not really done anything in close to 32 years to make us stand out from any other team who has had a flirt with european competitions.

And considering how long it has been since we last won a trophy in europe, most of the players we want to bring in weren't even born then

Right but they're players from abroad that most people have seen a handful of times at best. Champions League players obviously probably a bit more because bigger clubs are on the tele more. Also 10 games?! That's literally an entire day of watching games. Add sleep and eating, and that's your whole weekend. Not sure if I'm jealous or concerned.

When you consider united was on Friday, super sunday had two games, plus the two Saturday games (12:30 and 5:30) streamed the everton game on Saturday, that leaves me with fitting European football on between 7-10pm on Saturday and sunday.
