There's conviction
Then there is condescending conviction

I am merely asking a question, conviction would be answering it.
Surely thats a logical thing to do - think its called burden of truth.
Make a claim, back it up.

Chill out a bit mate. "Condescending conviction", jesus. If you don't like it, put the lad on ignore.

I cant comment on your lying claims, I just felt it was wrong to question somebody with having conviction, by all means continue making your case.

@The Esk clearly has no conviction, if he had he would not withhold evidence. Given the 'sensitivity' of the information and 'vulnerability of source' it would be wrong to reveal. If thats the case why reveal anything?

Why risk such information being misinterpreted in the public domain?

Why risk such information identifying said indiviual(s)?

Can't have it both ways, its fence-sitting of the highest order.

Specualtive guesswork, and just like a gambler something will eventually come in.

I dont usually make threads, just snarky posts but i saw this on twitter and a couple of non-official sites.

IF (big if) the article is to be believed then Everton would be one of if not THE richest club in the Premier league. According to the always accurate site of Wiki, the Russian Usmanov is worth 14.1 billion, a considerable chunk of change more than that guy over at Chelsea.

Look I dunno if this story has legs but if it does I am not entirely sure how I feel about an oligarch ultimately have a large say in the direction of the team. He has definitely invested while at Arsenal which is commendable in that he believes money must solve everything but we know as Toffees that Money cant buy you Ston....oh hell. I welcome our Russian overlord.
Give it up, lads.

Takes a minute most to answer a single question which puts to bed everything. Enough on this forum seemingly worship his every word, or given his escalated status hide from questioning his posts. Understandably the ignore function would be a good point of call.
But I can't grasp why I should, if your posting vagueness then expect a question.

You see, you are showing conviction, I like that.

You cant put a mod on ignore Friend.

Of course thats how it works.

Its called having conviction in your viewpoint.

Just like the conviction you and others are showing in trying to "highlight" how "evil" and "untrustworthy" Esk is.
Nah mate just full of [Poor language removed].

Appreciative of the reply.

Surely if @The Esk is able to proclaim speculation as unjustified fact, its feasible to question the integrity of the post.
Someone who had no knowledge on Moshiri, now is privy to his and Usmanov's plans.

I accept taking things as a pinch of salt helps, but speculating and compounding a fanbase to clamber over his words is not a respectable thing to do.

Nothing the esk has said is fact, yet by elevating his position he portrays it as such. Moreover anyhting that is questionable to his mindset is shotdown. The irony is compelling, but I guess thats how it works.
I think this post should be stickied on every single thread in the Everton forum until the end of the transfer window. Every Esk-ite should be forced to read and understand the bit in bold especially. I was PMing a wise forum member earlier today, who rightly likened the posters who blindly defend his (terrible) record of transfer boasts to scientologists who blindly defend their 'religion'. Thanks @R934 for your insightful and sensible posts this evening; I've enjoyed reading them. Goodnight to you, friend.
