A solid defence is something Koeman is credited with as a manager.

I think the thinking amongst fans at least is that it's one of those 2 mate. People who I assume have watched him don't seem keen. Iv not seen him play at all to be honest so I was just in here browsing for the general consensus on the lad

I dont know how good he was at Valencia but at Monaco he was a monster. Very similar to Williams in a way

I'll openly admit I didn't watch a huge deal of Aston Villa last season (would've been borderline self harm) but I'd say he did yes, we all seen how impressive his stats were last season. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the website WhoScored.com they give out a rating to every player after each match last season Gueye had the second highest rating at Villa last season only behind Amavi. Ross Barkley was infact the only Everton player that averaged a higher rating than him last season.

His terrible season last year mixed with his injury record I don't want to go near him, I feel we're taking a big risk with Bolaise so I'd like to play it quite safe with the rest of our money.

Cant remember him in france but hes been beyond terrible in spain.

It makes sense as koeman is going after players his age and walsh would knownhim from france i imagine BUT i thought we were going all out for Kone if he was at Finch Farm?

Additionally we have Mori and Galloway wjo play there and also Williams who weve only just signed.

Would expect a right sided centre back.
