Transfer Rumour Lamine Kone

I can see why Sunderland fans are unhappy. If Lukaku did the same with us we would be fuming.

But from Kone's point of view it is a no brainer. Yes, Everton have been poor over the past two seasons, hence why Martinez was sacked.

But Sunderland haven't finished ahead of Everton since the 2000-2001 season. Whilst the last two seasons were a bit of a disaster for us, they would be celebrated as a success up in Sunderland. Two seasons without a relegation battle, they would take that all day long. Though, if they get Everton Moyes they may well start moving in the right direction.

No offence to Sunderland fans because I genuinely think they are a class set of supporters, its just were the two clubs are at the present time.

I love it when they all just get off when they're getting battered. I've got loads of time for that.

This is partly my thinking as well mate - I'm not trying to jump to conclusions either way :) Hopefully we see some real progress on this over today/ the weekend.

And, Lukaku might well just do that too.
