We'll see mate.

There are some rumours Rom is agitating for a move still and not buying into what Koeman wants to do. Just a case of waiting to find out, as frustrating as it is.

One thing's for sure - the club are doing what they can to convince Rom to stay.
The only thing that will convince Rom to stay is signing players so they aren't doing all they can do.

Besides it's too late to sell Rom. Any replacement we could bring in would be overpriced and completely untested in the premiership like that Islam guy. There would be Moshiri out protests the next week.

There is already a protest planed for last March (Blue Union)

It's all hypothetical. Moshiri is a smart man. He would know the consequences of selling Rom and breaking his promises. I fully expect to keep Rom and get the signings by the end of the window but he's definitely leaving it late.

So nothing again now til next week?

My only slight concern is that we will finalise the two we know about and then not hear anything again until deadline day. Hopefully we can be surprised with these other two and if one or two can leave in that time as well then fantastic.

I would imagine koeman is planning on using Mccarthy Barry and Gibson as first team players this season so no new midfield this season.

Koeman mentioned 3-4 incomings, two of them more than likely Kone and Bolasie. And we're after another striker. So surely that leaves gk? To be honest I'm disappointed we haven't added two more positions to that list we need a proper CM and a final third CAM who can find that key pass. It's what we've been missing for years.

We can't solve every problem overnight unfortunately. City doing it was a different era, uncontrolled spending and massive wages which had never even been gotten close to before.

I'm sure we won't announce anyone else today, we're facing Tottenham with what we have at the moment and words can't express how glad i am to see the return of league football

Ah, now this is an excellent point. No, it doesn't, it usually unbalances a squad really quickly.

this is my thinking, however it really doesnt excuse the goalkeeper situation...i was expecting that to be the first big name through the door, but maybe there are reasons we dont know about...
