If we do get Kone, Williams and Bolasie then to me this does show RK is building the squad up, starting from the back. We said often enough back under RM should be building up from the back but he ignored that area.

Reminds me of Xmas circa '88 in my house. I was desperate for some "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle" figures, but they were practically impossible to get hold of. Then I heard that my nan had told my mum that she had managed to get hold of some off a stall on the local market. She was so excited that she had found me some, and so was I. I was absolutely made up. Well, I was until I actually opened up the present Xmas morning to discover that they were "Adolescent Deformed Karate Terapins". I had to try REALLY hard to not show my disappointment bless her.

Can see what Koeman is trying to do with our signings so far.. but we are a creative attacking midfielder short before I can get happy about the window. Unless RK also intends to leave Ross to slot in again behind the striker before and see how it goes.

In all fairness the Stones deal could've been delayed - it was very last minute for their CL squad and not ideal for us. They must've been expecting that to go through last week to kick start all this.

Do you really think that Everton doesn't have 50 million pounds to spend in transfers without selling? It wasn't money holding up the deals, it was negotiating them.

We were after Mata and a couple of high priced players whose names I can't spell weeks ago.
