Didn't see a thread, seems like this is a goer? Didn't catch much Sunderland last season so don't know much about him, only his goals against us, is he any good? Worth the reported 17m we are throwing at him?

looked impressive for sunderland, seems to be a defend first play later type of cb which is what we need right now.
Also seems handy from set pieces unless that was just us
