Absolutely on one hand everyone is crap and on the other why aren't we signing anyone.

Football fans for you, we are a fickle bunch.

Some people on here need to take a long look at themselves. Sake.

Hart would be a nice signing, but he shouldn't be too expensive. I don't think we can afford to (or should) spend loads on a keeper.

I absolutley disagree a quality keeper is worth everything regardless.
We have been lucky as two of the best keepers I've seen Southall and Martyn were relatively cheap.
A quality keeper is an absolute must and would be the foundation for years to come.

That's my opinion.

I deffo agree we need a strong keeper in, but paying loads of money for Hart doesn't seem to be a great solution. He's not bad, but spending 35 or 40 mil on him would be ridiculous.

But what are we talking about, signing Joe Hart when we can't even sign Ashley Williams hahaha, can't imagine

He's decent - miles better than the ones we have but I'm not keen on him. Just makes a few mistakes too many for my liking.

Obviously one can look abroad but just in the PL there are at least a dozen other keepers worth trying to get:

Schmeichel (perhaps?) Butland, Adrian, Forster, Foster, Heaton, Begovic - and then those not readily available: Cech, Courtois, De Gea, Lloris, Karius..

So why would we want Hart with his massive wage demands?

Cant see this happening but it could be good, maybe like hen we got Martyn, I dunno, problem is I want us to get money form City not just players, depends on how much, Hart + Bony + 20m would be OK as long as we get Koulibaly

I'm reading Colin Harvey's book at the moment. It is evident how much he regarded Big Nev during the 80s/90s. Even when we wont the league he keeps saying how Nev kept us in games or allowed us to sneak a win. I think we need to spend big to get the right man in.
