Make sure your inside the pub before the game kicks off, a few now close there doors if there showing the game and just have the people who are already in ok to watch it. Clocked that a couple of times last year as the games were so bad we were wandering over to the ground a tad later than we normally would, damned martinez and sky snoops!

Hi Blues, as the Spurs match sold out almost instantly I'm just wondering do any pubs like The Brick or Bradley's show the home games on match day? I know places in the town like The Old Post Office usually show the matches on the dodgy sky box but Ive a few friends visiting that weekend and we'd all planned to head to the match so wouldn't mind getting the atmosphere of the match up by Goodison at the pub. Thanks in advance for the help!

Keep an eye out on stubhub - plenty of people will still be on holiday for the first game of the season so tickets will still be available I reckon

Best beer garden in Walton :drunk:

One of the best in liverpool, only downside is sometimes the number of kids screaming and sprinting around the tables can be grating as hell. Don't mind kids in beer gardens at all, but as it's like a wacky warehouse and not got a play area the little ones get borer and just go mad and tear around whilst there parents are oblivious to it.

A strategically placed extended leg at the right moment soon puts a stop to it.

Never thought i'd say ' i'm too posh to go to watch Everton' but having read this thread i think i am.

' we're going to win the cup rar rar rar '

Slightly off topic I know but any bars in Salou that are likely to show Blues games?
There's a Scouser who hands out pub flyers - been there for years and must now be in his 50's - a big Blue, always wears a beanie hat. Walk towards the sea front and shops on the left hand side of the road (past the mini-golf) and you will be bound to come across him as he has been touting a pub along that stretch for a few years. He might be able to give you a heads up if the matches are being shown live anywhere.
