He had a bad run of games playing for a team out of form and not drilled properly. A young man who before that had performed superbly for two seasons. I'm surprised it took so long for him to have a bad patch.

The club is in a better position than it has been in decades, any player who wants to leave us now doesn't have the excuse that as a club we have no ambition or resources. It's because they've stopped caring about us. And if you don't care about us, I don't care about you.

If you're not with us then you're against us. That's the mentality this club needs going forward if we're going to succeed.
