I think we will surprise some with the signings, depends on what you read Mata and Witsel (if they go ahead) aren't massive fees. Think there might be some serious amounts spent.

Been very patient so far. New Manager bedding in, players only just started pre-season training, Euro 'stars' still on holiday, transfer targets still on holiday etc etc.
But, now is the time to act. I'm expecting us to step up over the next two weeks and make 2 or 3 signings. Get players in before we even contemplate selling anyone. Get cracking!

Note Yakubu is playing in UK again and is still apparently only 33! Sign him, he packs three years into one.

Aye Mata is the one for me,we've lacked that sort of guile for a long time. Would be happy with Witsel too but think it may be easier to sign a similar style player then it will be to get Mata. People may laugh here but I think he would be easily our best player if he signs.

Reall hard to say from those youtube clips isn't it though mate, thpought Milik for example looked pretty poor in them, yet watching him live - was really impressed with his overall play, touch and ability to get into space for example, same with janssen, looked meh in them but in the Dutch firendlies i watched looked a lot better, so god knows about this lad.

Reminded me a bit of John Carew the old Valencia striker from the brief vid i saw
