So how did we manage before the huge influx of cheap labour?
Easy mate pay the going rate, and stop ripping people off , people will do tbe work ,the way these overseas workers are treated is a national disgrace, but that's for a separate thread.
I worked on a farm at the age of six, picking carrots spuds ect alongside other people from my area funny enough the work was getting done.
Kirkdale in the 60's wasn't a cosmopolitan hotspot so no EU workers to do the work we couldn't.

Nope, just exploited child labour by the sounds of it.

I've been listening to the expert ramblings of the DfE for the last three years or so.

They've pretty much ruined education and crippled good teachers with a feeling of apathetic resignation.
These experts havnt got a record better than mystic meg for getting things right, the chancellor bujet forcast havnt been correct for a long time the join the euro experts and how that would ruin the economic future, and you always get some other expert saying the other is wrong people just pick the o ne they want to believe.

They did do, and continue to expiot people today just different ones.
Got a mate still doing it , those Eu workers are getting shafted good style , after there costs are taken out for transport, accommodation ect they are on buttons, they don't take any part of the package the lose the job

Exactly mate, there is always a price that people will work for. It's just not the <£5 an hour Eastern Europeans are happy with, hence why nobody will do it.

I will guarntee one thing, once its all over and done with, prices will rise the people with least in our society will still take the brunt of cuts, and the experts will say its your own fault for voting in/out it will not change anything
