The EU deal

Fully appreciate that fella and apologies but I kind of take offence at lies being written about me.
Its not a problem its just that the topic keeps getting dragged off course and will eventually get locked which is a shame because there are a lot of good opinions on here

I think this is what is being referred to. It's hard to dispute that history, but I don't think you're suggesting the German citizen on the street was complicit in this agenda; they simply knew of it.

We aren't complicit in every action of our government, but we are aware of what they do in our name. But then, we aren't likely to be rounded up if we dissent about things, these days...
Sorry yea I didn't search hard enough. That is what I was referring to. It's clear also that's what he thinks from his refusal to answer the question. Typical left white guilt rubbish.

Reading posts by @daylightrobber, I think you're fantasising to suggest he actually thinks all Germans were responsible for the actions of the Nazis.
Not sure what you're trying to score by suggesting it.

Anyway, this Nazi stuff was started by some mad views comparing one of the most vicious, fascist states in recent history to the European Union, right? It's so ludicrous even the mods have been warning us to stay on topic.

Just a bit of a disagreement between 2 very good and honest posters. Move Along.

I'm voting Out. Nothing more will change my view. If we can't survive as an entity in our own right then we deserve to fall to the motherland at some point further in the future.

He said it himself. He said the German people were aware at the beginning that the Nazi plan was to exterminate the Jews. The German people voted for Hitler. Therefore he is implying they are responsible. Notice how he hasn't answered my question either.

The German people knew of Hitler's desire to relocate the Jews, they knew he was an anti-Semite however they didn't know the plan was extermination because that wasn't the plan. It was only when relocation became in-feasible did they proceed with the final solution and kept it classified.

If you don't think this is relevant to the discussion about the EU and their general immigration policy then you are a fool. It's practically their reason to be.

Thanks, mate. Nazism can be loosely related to most political discussions. The direct comparison between Nazism and the EU, though, is insanity.

No I didn't. Stop with your lies.

I believe we will be able to survive as an entity in our own right - economically. The slim buffer (albeit undemocratic) above our government, at the moment, gives me some comfort. Why? Works right, human rights, employment law, maternity etc. Just imagine if some nutter (Boris) got their hands on those issues with no protection from the EU. Then we'd be screwed.
