What do other's say of Emery? Like his staff, players and other people that have worked with him in close proximity?

Always good to consider references as well as achievements. The modern Premier League footballer is a precious lamb after all.

@MoutsGoat come on then what have you been told?

youre dying to share it....

Ive just realised this is the Emery thread.

I must at this point say his name hasnt been mentioned to me at all.

I was more just blowing smoke up Moshs arsehole, so forgive me if the impression is that I know anything, even less know anything regarding Emery.

Mr Esk has been telling everybody all year, the Mosh is the real deal.

Lad have you for even a second considered how much my right hand would hurt if it got a clean contact anywhere on your delicate fat frame?

I'm not gonna lie, it's fourteen times more effective than Nytol if it lands anywhere on the face.

the fella has just won his third european title on the trot.

if you can't get excited by that, theres not much you will get excited by.

He saved valencia from koemans catastrophe.

Theyre quite a defensive minded team....i think rico is a brilliant keeper but is helped by the rest including midfield being so defence minded....

Also not sure on players he would bring in....not so excited as he didnt play deulofeu....more of a lennon fan than deulofeu i think....

so what? they win football matches, it doesn't matter how they do it.

Mourinho played a very similar style to win various titles.

Winning games, winning trophies even if we are defensive would be exciting enough for me.

We've just had our 'exciting' football manager absolutely destroy years worth of work by not being defensive.

Emery would be on another planet to him.

Every manager is a risk, regardless of reputation and history, nobody can guarantee sucess. Sometimes managers, like players are a perfect fot for certain teams and cant replicate that elsewhere.

Im just happy that the calibre of managers we are supposedly talking to are very high and in the end Moshiri will approach the best man for the job. After all he will want what we all want (not that Bill doesnt) and he wont just be swayed just because someone is a 'gentleman'.

Where would he rank compared to the others in the prem next season?

How would our players react if we got him?

Does he have a "presence" like pep/mourinho?

Can he turn kone and niasse into world class superstars fed by mcgeady?
