I'll state the obvious, for it to happen Usmanov has to dispose of his 30.04% Arsenal Holding. He's maintained publicly that he'll keep his Arsenal holdings for his family in the future. He also does not strike me as a man who is going to let Kroenke win their particular battle.

It also seems the wrong time to dispose of Arsenal shares, on the cusp of this enormous amount of money flowing into the Premier League and frankly the Premier League Champions spot being wide open next year.

There's not a whisper in the London investment/football community of this happening.

Think their is even a rule about family members holding those shares as well isn't there? so he can't exactly 'pass' them along to a family member thus freeing him up to invest/own another team without relinquishing the holdings at Arsenal?

Not saying its all gueswork mate, far from it, most ITK's do have insider tracks on certain things, but like with everything their is always the temptation for them to supplement that after a bit with clever guesswork as well, we've seen it many times before, not saying that this is the case, but anything like Usmanov arriving i genuinely don't think would get out at all prior to it happening

Fair enough mate.

And I'd deffo agree on the bold bit, everything seems to be a bit hush hush under Moshiri at the moment but can't help but be encouraged by his posts.

Don't get to excited lads, we're fine with Moshiri and his plans for the summer. I'm sticking with Usmanov is not selling his Arsenal holdings.

Something I've been wondering since Moshiri first arrived. I know you can't have ownership of two clubs but could Usmanov have his Arsenal shares in trust for his son or grandson and be free to move on to another club or is that not allowed?

Who's to say Usmanov hasn't chsnged his mind? Perhaps since Moshiri joining, they've spoke and maybe see's a more controlling position now & potential with us?

Correct, R&W Holdings or the Arsenal shares would have to be sold to someone outside his family for him to buy a single share in any other club.

No mate, he would have to sell which he's always said publicly and privately he will not do.

Does this mean I'm king of the ITK's if it happens, because I was banging on about this being a master plan from day one.

It all made sense to me in the very beginning that Moshiri's move to buy us could have been the first move in both of them jumping ship to here.
