No doubt about it mate you don't become a billionaire by being shy, I think he's just cringing at Bill being a weapon.

Fact he looks humble is good imo doesn't strike me as the type of fella who's up his own back side.
Call me crazy but I feel all good looking at him as an Evertonian. I think he genuinely gets the club and the supporters. Looking forward to seeing what he does and who he brings on board when he is solely in control soon ;)

I don't like to be negative but I agree a bit.

He's a showman and knows the right things to say in the right crowd.
But not a football crowd perhaps? I can just imagine him being puzzled as to why everyone is interested in the boxing match coming up but nobody was interested in seeing Othello at GP!

I hope Moshy is now sitting down & talking to all the players he wants to keep, and telling them his plans, ambitions, and Managerial targets. I don't think Bill would have their ear as much as he would. I think our key players that are wavering on transfers could be turned around by him.

What an inappropriate thing to say 'he's made my dreams come true' given that he distinguishes his dreams (which have already come true) with the rest of the fans (which may come true), he can't be referring to his hopes for Everton, only what he got paid for his shares.if his dreams really were all-about how much he made then from his own mouth it seems to be all about the money for Bill

I know exactly what you mean mate, I basically like Bill, whatever anyone says he is a true blue,he saved this club from Peter Johnson's clutches and God only knows where we would have ended up, but I feel he has kept hold of it for too long,he hasn't moved with the times and in the long run we have suffered and because of that it is going to take a lot of Mr Moshiri's cash to put things right not only funding a new stadium but revamping the squad and probably paying big bucks for a new management team.

But getting back to Bill,he is a showman, a trained actor and used to making speeches but having been fond of him in his early stewardship I am now tiring of his spin and the sooner there is a handing over of the total senior management the better as far as the overall well being of the club.

I'm the same. I honestly don't mind him. I don't know enough of what he does and doesn't do in the club to form an opinion on that really.

I always just wished he'd had more money as he clearly cares. Now the money is there.

But yeah. He knows what to say at the right times so there will always be a bit of 'OK Bill' when he talks. There is a feeling this time that he might actually be being straight with us all though.
