@Bruce Wayne I await my thread-ban for what I am about to say, but being called clueless by this cockwaffle spouting person who has been shot down so many times it's embarrassing, is the limit.

@bizzaro you are without doubt the most idiotic poster on any matters legal or otherwise connected to business on this thread. Not only do you talk rubbish, even when you are proven to be wrong, you persevere which is either narcissism or stupidity.

Your sycophancy regarding the esk is cringe-worthy - I respect the him, but I will challenge him if I believe him to be incorrect or debate sensibly if I have a different stance.

by the way, you cannot have a proxy director, a director and all the attendant responsibilities are vested in the person appointed to the office.

I don't have to make claims or justify myself in any way, but in 30 years of accountancy, on-shore and offshore, I have never come across anyone who is in business but is so consistently and catastrophically wrong.

LOL

If we were to get Jose as manager then our global profile will explode

and that's putting it mildly. I wonder if the media's anti-Everton bias will still remain to the point they even turn on Mourinho?

You know the old hack maxim: build 'em up to knock 'em down.

Funny that. People compare the Dutch league to the Scottish league (when it suits), but nobody expects Celtic or Hearts or anyone from that league to be winning the champions league. that's all I have to say!

yeah, but how did he do? I think Celtic reached a Europa final a few years back. And I remember Porto winning the Champions League once.

So you'd take Martin O'Neill ahead of Frank De Boer? De Boer, has been learning his managerial trade at the highest level, he is the prime candidate behind Mourinho imo. This thead though is about Moshiri, my point was Frank De Boer has that wow factor, that could lead to off-the-field income and our media standing rising and rising.

Sorry it's taken so long to answer. I've send SwissRamble a message on twitter, will get back to you when he answers.

Re Kitbag, I would have thought the existing arrangements will stay in place for most of next season. I've no idea as to the release clauses and conditions attached. 6 months would also be the absolute minimum required to set up a retail operation and if we are recruiting externally perhaps longer, say 9 months.

The scope of the retail operation? Local, and national - getting stock into existing retailers, and internationally - tieing up with sponsors and regional distributors backed by marketing.

My point is the sooner we start doing this ourselves the greater the chance of at least catching up partially with our competitors, in terms of branding, visibility and availability of stock nationally and internationally.

If we were to get Jose as manager then our global profile will explode, we must be in position as soon as possible to take advantage of this - our existing arrangements would be totally unsuitable as I'm sure you are aware.

With regards to RE it should be remembered that he has been a board member for some time before his appointment as a director.

It's for Mr Moshiri to decide whether he is the suitable person to drive the business, the stadium and other infrastructure matters forward. I'm not sure his CV or achievements to date would stand against strong candidates externally. Personally I think it is only a matter of time before he is released as CEO. As and when I do not expect him to continue on the board. I stress the above is only my opinion.

As I said in my front page piece, RE is not the only executive who in my opinion needs replacing if we are to advance as quickly and effectively as we should.

It's clear that there are going to be structural changes in the management of the business, and that usually leads quickly to personnel changes in my experience.
Cheers mate.
I really didn't want to bust your nuts over the figures, but I really don't get the discrepancy, so thanks for asking.

So if a seamless transition from Kitbag to in-house were possible, we could have it in house in time for Christmas-ish, possibly as long as February. Worst case scenario is we get to flog off the greatly reduced stock at the end of 16/17 season (or hopefully do a Leicester and have to order more due to the demand for gold Premier League badges as champions) ;)

Certainly agree that the club's profile would benefit greatly if Mourinho were appointed, and had a brief exchange of posts on another thread where I put my point of view on this forward, but to paraphrase higher season ticket sales - for the love of God no, day occasional attendees yes as long as they can fill the gap, higher up table more money, please God no to Mourinho/Everton merchandising stuff and although it may sway sponsors/advertisers/partners I'm not certain that unless they were already interested, he may not attract them.

RE is interesting. Think it was when Mr Moshiri was announced, I did put a couple of posts up wondering if he was beyond salvation, so I suppose the thing is, is he being rehabilitated or a short-term appointment. Guess time will tell.

I saw your post on season tickets and agree - until the stadium issue is resolved increasing the average yield on seats, especially when demand exceeds supply is almost inevitable. I know the club are conscious of the cost of watching football for many of our supporters but a limit on season tickets, a possible reduction in the various discount schemes combined with more "turn up" sales would be a sensible strategy.

I was being unnecessarily polite with regards to the executives in our club, in my opinion they all need replacing asap.

Without wanting to get involved in this little squabble, I'd just like to say that I work in tax (albeit only since I left uni last summer) and just finished my tax exams last week, and can back you on what you said previously regarding domicile and tax of overseas income etc.

You were completely correct, and also, you are quite right in not being allowed a proxy director. Or maybe my textbooks are all wrong and I can look forward to plenty of fails when my results come out? lol

If you google : management consultant

You will find an entire industry that says otherwise friend.
