Moyes patiently waiting...

The worst thing about re-appointing moyes is that he is not an appointment that our "star" players will want to stay for and the youth (no matter what the media say) will not breakthrough or even be given a fair crack of the whip with him. Plus he's a right bell and the way he treated the club when at man ure was nothing short of contemptible.

Ive jumped from page 1 to page 4 of this thread so apologies if this is not in tune with the vibe....but.....

its an almighty YES from me to Moyes

people forget how good we really were over a long period of time with a net spend less than myself for the weekly shop in Aldi

Nope, we were decent, and everyone patronised us. Nobody ever saw us as anything more than a mid-table club.

Debating Moyes or Martinez is like arguing over which bald man should get the comb.

Moyes was an excellent manager when we needed him after Smith left. I have, and always will be greatful for him turning the club around on a shoestring when all seemed lost. But then he legged it to Man U and talked us down. Leaving for Man United, reluctantly understand. Talking Everton down -- totally unnecessary and disrespectful. His time was well and truly done here.

Why can we not show some proper ambition and go for a real top end manager?
We have a talented, underperforming squad that needs direction and a cash influx this summer from the TV and Moshiri.

We were often called 'The best of the rest'

In reference to our spending power then, he deserves a crack with a wodge of cash

I don't think that's a compliment mate.

But we were seen as "Punching above our weight", that line was quoted in pretty much every singe article about us, under MOyes.

I don't want Bobby now either, there are more manager in the world than Bobby and Moyes.

So he can dither in the transfer market for a better class of player? He'll bring back Fellaini and raid Man U for their failing players.

It won't be pretty.

Moyes is the perfect manager for a club that needs some stability. We're not that club any more. Getting Moyes back would just be giving up.
