They will be very motivated for our game as it is their only real chance of any European competition next season.

Hopefully the fact it is also ours mean we still come out in top.
This is very true, but they'll also be disheartened by tonight's defeat.

I'd rather have them coming with their heads down after tonight as opposed to them feeling great after a momentous win.

The pressure is massively increased for them now, as like us - their season could end on Saturday

Fair point, can see both points of view.

Tbh I'd have been nervous of any way their game had gone short of the entire team contracting a bad case of stomach flu - and then I'd probably comment on how good their youth squad is lol
 
I agree about the stature aspect, but I think the tenacity, challenges and ability to throw a heavy well-timed tackle has shown he's no push over.

What he'd be like against Costa or a real tall, powerful player I am unsure, however I'm more inclined to think he wont be dominated.
Yeah, I agree about the tenacity. I wouldn't say he was intimidating though.
