You have to remember that this was announced earlier than intended due to the press speculation and the Daily Mail breaking the story.

It's no coincidence that the story was confirmed Saturday afternoon following 24 hours of speculation.

It changed speculative stories in the Sunday papers into broadly positive comment.

However the early announcement probably means that the work behind the scenes needed to catch up.

Nothing to worry about.
So really speaking things may have only been agreed "in principle"? with more talks to follow?, just all seems a little mysterious with literally no other comments from anyone apart from the manager, I mean I know davek went a little OTT, but maybe he was onto something?, lets be honest this is everton and everton once came up for the Fortress sports fund....

Where did I say that?

Of course not. I said the announcement was brought forward to cover the Sunday newspapers.

A lot of work would have been scheduled over the Sunday which was lost in the announcement.

Moshiri would never have sold his shares in Arsenal with out knowing for sure he has the Everton situation in control.

Like selling a house, your solicitor will complete the sale when he knows for sure the purchase of your next house is complete.

True and I totally understand what your saying, but for things to go this quiet over something so major just seems a little off with me, all my opinion of course and I am probably completely wrong, but just a nagging feeling

It'll be sorted - I wasn't expecting an announcement till then end of this week beginning of next. Even then the way some things work id probably let it slip.

Considering how long we waited for new investment, a week wait for the rubber-stamp isn't too bad.

What could possibly go wrong?
