This place is just laughable.

We play well but don't win and the so-called 'plotters' come out full-on-fume about how proper Evertonians should be ashamed of wanting anything other than a win and that playing well but not getting points is for happy-clappers. We then win, and they decide it's not good enough because we didn't play well.

You just couldn't make it up.

Except you just did. Unless you can name names rather than make sweeping statements criticising everyone who doesn't think Martinez is God ?

Everyone likes to see us win but in the long run I want us to win move up the table and win more games than we have been doing. The only way to do that is by improving performances. We won yesterday but we played very poorly. If we were playing well and winning week in week out no one would complain about a poor performance and 3 points. The fact is that we are in 11 place in the league and still look unconvincing against the worst team in the league despite being 3 - 0 up. We are supposed to have the strongest squad since the 80's but nothing about that performance suggested we should be higher up the table. Something needs to change or will continue to be a mid table team who occasionally wins.

I think people just don't like that the RS had a better score against Villa.

We all know who they are! For example;

Paul Merson said; People say they’re good to watch. Are they? I know what I would want to watch if I was an Everton fan – a winning team.

Merson's comments in particular were spot on.

I thought we were supposed to play with much more "freedom" away from home?

He certainly didn't say owt of the sort in the comments I was remarking on.

Which were about Stones's antics against Spurs and about how not many Leicester players would get in the Everton team and that EFC should be higher up the table.

Comments which I thought were "spot on".

But if you want to be disingenuous in attributing my comments to sommat else he said then go ahead, sir.

It is only yourself you are making look ridiculous ;)

My apologies, Khalekan.

Both topics were part of the same rant from Paul Merson.

Sweeping statements? Jesus mate, there's 86 pages of it in this thread alone. Plus another half dozen threads with zillions of posts in. If you need to be led to them and talked through them then there's no hope.....you know who are the 'plotters' and who are the 'Cult'. We all know.

Oh dear you seem to have fallen into the polarisation trap created by the WUMs on here, whereby everyone is pitched into 2 extreme camps at opposite ends of the spectrum.

It's a load of utter tosh because most supporters are somewhere in the middle, either with continued support for the present management providing there is an improvement in results, or with reservations as to whether he is the right man for the job but could be persuaded otherwise if results improve or we win a trophy.

Don't tar everyone with the same brush.

It boils down to this. A group of cringey Evertonians wanted Vitor Pereira rather than Martinez a few years ago, which is fine but they hadn't heard of Pereira more than a few weeks earlier.

Like a jarg edition of Xfactor they got too obsessed in the following of chosen icon so when Martinez was preferred to their man they fumed at being made to look like divvies for going all out on a whim for an unknown option because he wears an armband as a manager.

Because of the above they are desperate for Martinez to fail, and also because they're avid Football Manager game players and the gibbering idiots believe they have an appreciation of football tactics better than the man being paid more in a week than they do in a year.

Evertonians who hate Martinez more than they like Everton. It's weird but you'll see them chip chipping away and posting furiously when we lose games.

Says a man tarring everyone with said same brush.
Have another read and tell me where I'm tarring anyone.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, may I present to you Exhibit A.
