I do hope you haven't only just realised that. He's a fraud.

But I'm not stubborn, yes we've beat Villa, Stoke and Newcastle in the last 3 months so I should be thankful but.....If we win 3 of the next 4 games I'll consider changing my mind. I'm just not as easily pleased as some with this squad, to be 2 points off the traditional PL safety mark with only 11 games to go doesn't spell out great success to me. Each to their own though.

Yes each to there own but remember the 80's are long long gone so try not to compare to that era.

Great result in a game we would normally make a meal of. Why play at 100% when you can win at a canter. We are running into good form at the right time, oh and we are billionaires, all is good people:cheers:

celebrate the 3 points or would you rather see us play well and get beat which we have done often.
At times this season we've played some of the most thrilling football I've ever seen us play. As we were dropping points, it was understandable to see some posters saying they'd prefer wins over nice football. (we'll call them group A)

A few times this season (like tonight) we've got some good results. As we didn't play very well, it was understandable to see some posters complaining about the performance. (Shall we call them group B).

Now I'm no good at vaulting, but I'd swear that some members of group A are also in group B.

But mainly McCarthy right ??

No, i wouldn't say that. The midfield in general were sloppy, especially in the middle of the field. Lennon shone, Mirallas had a decent game. Robles looks good. But second half in particular we were incredibly sloppy. No way will we get away with that against better sides.

Funes Mori MOM for me, had a great defensive game, a goal and an assist. Lennon a close second and the rest were a bit meh...
Robles made some good saves but he doesn't look too brilliant on crosses. Better than Howard certainly but I think we really need to see how he gets on in these last games of the season.
