I've read a few Patrick o'brian Aubrey/maturin books, which is how I know it and relevance of "nailing your colour to the mast". Would strongly recommended if you haven't read them.If ya know ya history !

Ha only messing Yorks. Read them myself after watching Master and Commander. Was a very underrated film IMO. Love the song at the end. I looked up the original and has gone on to be one of the few classical pieces I can nameHa only messing Yorks.
