The only thing possibly stopping this predictable outcome is HHH & Vince deciding they no longer think Reigns should be in the main event (unlikely), and switch it to HHH vs Lesnar for the title, and heel Ambrose vs Reigns at Mania...

Either way, between poor booking over the past year & injuries to top stars, wwe is heading into the most uninteresting wrestlemania in some time..

wrestlemania is April 3rd

it's still some time away

enough time for a couple of old faces to make a shock appearance maybe to boost ratings?

for example randy orton is supposedly back from injury

sting and undertaker should surely be fit enough to partake?

could cena make a shock return? it seems unlikely but he won the royal rumber in 2008 after coming back from tearing a pectoral muscle

will they fast forward the bullet club for wrestlemania?

sasha banks to win the title of charlotte at wrestlemania in an epic women's match never seen before at wrestlemania?

who knows but im sure vince will have a few tricks up his sleeve

Think Orton is definitely out....and to be honest I'm fine with that....

Be surprised if Cena returns in time but you never know with him.....plans were for him to fight Taker....

I think the mystic of Sting has now faded after the nightmare he had against Rollins, although I'm sure there's a far chance he'll appear at Mania....

Those two aside...I don't think there's really anyone else left who could return and make an impact....The Rock and Ronda Rousey would have been the big name attractions but Rock won't be allowed wrestler, and Rousey has her UFC title to try win back now....

Vince's plan has always been to go back for established stars, (had he not fluked the attitude era, he'd be out of business long ago)....as far as this Wrestlemania goes, he may have ran out of old established stars to turn to.....and the poor booking of the younger wrestlers means no one is over enough to fill the void right now....

do you think because vince knows wrestlemania is not going to be very good this year he may decide to give ambrose a push to appease the fans and if ambrose wins the title at wrestlemania then he thinks the fans will be happy and it will cover the rest of the sucky ppv

kinda like when bryan won the title at wrestlemania....

would you be happy if ambrose won the title?

Firstly, no chance Ambrose headlines Mania, and wins the title...
Personally, I don't care for Ambrose, so I wouldn't be happy with that.....he does the odd funny interview, but overall he overplays his character and his matches are mostly dull (that clothesline gimmick thing off the ropes annoys me too)....

I think Lesnar vs Reigns for the title would have made a better main event...last year's match was great, and was interrupted by Rollins (so was an easy storyline to follow up on)....failing that, I'd have had lesnar win the Rumble, and defend against Taker (Title vs Career)...and had HHH screw Reigns at the Rumble setting up their match (there's currently no heat in that feud, because Reigns isn't over, and HHH won the Rumble clean)....
 
Reigns will never be over, because he doesn't have a clue what he's doing. He's by far the worst "main eventer" I've ever seen. I'd have Ambrose in the main event over him any day of the week. Hell, I'd rather have The Great Khali.

Ambrose lost the IC title to Kevin Owens in a 5 way match with Stardust, Ziggler and Breeze. Owens/Ziggler for the title is on the PPV now

Other than that, and a great Miz/Styles match nothing much happened as the last hour was killed by the Grammy's so they ended the show with Big Show v Braun Stroman
 
So big couple of days ahead...Fast lane & Raw on Monday should set up the top 3 or 4 matches for Wrestlemania....

What's yer predictions?.....do they stick with Reigns challenging HHH, or except Reigns isn't over and do a u-turn, with Lesnar (or Ambrose).....
I guess the likely options for Mania are:
HHH vs Reigns
Brock vs Wyatt
or
HHH vs Lesnar
Reigns vs Ambrose


Undertaker match:
Rumour was Taker vs Cena was the plan...trying to think who's around now to take Cena's spot....Finn Balor could be cool for the entrances alone....Kevin Owens would have been my pick, but winning the IC title rules him out.....Sting is still a possibility, if Sting can wrestle (match quality mightnt be great)....heel Jericho?....league of nations?....
