But that's the point.

A manager like Hughes didnt think Huth was any good because he wants Stoke to play "out the back".

Martinez would never look at a player like Huth because of this.

So when your team can't defend, the no nonsense honest defender who can defend, organise his defence etc becomes more valuable than any philosophy or style.

A side needs players like that than spunking £70million on [Poor language removed] like Demichaeles, Otemendi etc

Hahaha, I love it when people make us Everton supporters look stupid. While they may not be world class they can certainly play and do have skills. Of course us languishing in the bottom half of the league again this season can lead the way in opinions, no wonder they call us bitter with posts like this.
