Everton Transfer Thread 2016

I hate these ridiculously smug and intentionally mysterious tweets. If a tweet doesn't actually make any claim with some sort of verifiable facts it's worthless information.
This! "I know a teapot that will be teapot with curiosity to know that teapot is teapot to play for teapot."

Yep...fairly balanced i thought :)

Difference is that theres more reasons for us to buy than not this window...suppose also that Martinez may have an eye on stones or someone else leavinf as well as the 5 out of contract players in summer and wait till then to make his moves.
That's the thing though mate. Teams don't want to sell/lose key players in the middle of their season. We probably did go for Yarmolenko this window but why would Kiev sell now when they're still in CL and they could get even more money in the summer? The same basically applies for any player other than those with set release clauses and those whose contract is running out.

It's like tweeting at the start of summer "Hearing there might be some transfer activity somewhere at some point over this window, you heard it here first!"

Did Andrade swerve us or did we swerve him last year? Think we passed on that deal.

The windows are only going to get worse after the summer. The new TV deal is going to throw prices right out of equilibrium. Don't know if I would agree with Dembele being worth 6 million, he's only really played in the Championship though the prices are getting out of hand down there as well.

Hes doing well in a poor fulham side, can score and is rapid....personally id go for him for that price rather than Niasse and twice the price ++.

If he moved to united as cover for martial i wouldnt be surprised, quite similar players but Dembele just needs a step up to see his potential i think.

Would be ideal competition for Lukaku and could keep up with Deulofeu :)

The one i expected us to be in for was embolo though, would really be good competition for both lukaku and barkley and kone + succession planning if lukaku left. Comes in, takes the kone role and we would look like a new team with another attacking dimension.

Embolo will cost a fortune to whoever he goes to. He's been getting talked about a lot and appears to be carrying on from last year's promise.
