Yeah it seems a bit, well, pathetic that we passed up the chance to get Charlie Austin - a proven, English, Premier League goalscorer - for a mere 4m but are prepared to spunk a huge 13m on a complete unknown quantity from Africa.

Can we just not attract good players who actually know who Everton are any more thanks to the last 2 seasons / the manager's awful style of play and in the knowledge of how we're going backwards as a club? So we have to go for players nobody knows a single thing about and likely know nothing about Everton?

Yes some of his throws are brilliant fast accurate, also notice on free kicks how high our defence Ann position itself as they know he will come out and catch the ball, oh and he uses his hands to save the ball

never been so bored during a 2-0 win...i thought we'd put on a show and go after a big score this 2-0 and hit the brakes is dissapointing

so far the highlight of the game for me has been Robles jump - catch- catapult throw/through ball to lennon

Comfortable apart from when we gift them the ball. Not created much since the 2nd but we've hardly got out of 2nd gear. Stop giving them opportunities to hoof it into our box and we'll negate a large part of their threat.

Bring Gibson on for McCarthy after 10/15 mins of the 2nd half but other than that I wouldn't change anything.
