Just an example...ive got no idea what hed be rated at in any case.

Players worth £20mil last year in england could be £50mil this summer as clubs dont need to sell and also clubs have loads more cash.

Bournemouth could bid £50mil for John Stones if they wanted.
by thst logic we could ask for 70 million for stones and 100 million for luakaku

Fat Ronaldo deffo mate
just find it funny that so many people hang their hopes on thing and it is always the 'x' money.

I cant remember when we properly spent any money from somewhere else tbh, unless like i said the other week, 3 for tarashaj, 3 million for byram and 1 million for foulds was the naismith money all along.

Yarmolenko would have been using the loan we took out i guess, but now sat here wondering why we took a loan, didn't spend it and obviously are paying it back with a lot of interest, and low and behold where will that money loaned disappear to as sure as [Poor language removed] it wont go back into players in the summer

The desperation builds. I'm just awaiting the crescendo, when someone suggests Dave Nugent or someone equivalent.

Hasn't quite happened yet but the anticipation of it is killing me.

The biggest losers in the English game as a result of all the money flowing into football will ironically be English youngsters hoping to make a living for themselves in the professional game.
It is true that none of the clubs in England will get a big advantage over each other as the money continues to escalate . It will mean however that the richest clubs will have to pay a lot more money if they want to sign players from other premiership clubs. Clubs simply are not forced to sell anymore because they need the money to survive.

However the English clubs will have a huge financial advantage over other clubs all over the world and will be able to sign players young and old offering monies that other countries can't compete with. This will make it ever more difficult for English/Irish/Scottish/Welsh youngsters to get into premiership academies as they will be competing with a worldwide market.

It is things like this that i don't understand about the club, like a offer of itent that never pulls through. Granted we missed out on some dodgy players in the process but only statement we ever came through on was fellaini, and even then he was panic bought, wonder if that was to make sure the money didn't vanish.......

But for the second season running you can literally say the team are doing badly, league form is poor and the club have got to jan and thought 'we don't need to change things'.
