No one knows mate. A few Twitter rumours it was off, a few mentioned other interested parties waiting to have a look, and a few journo's (McNulty one of them) said the last he heard it was still on.

To be fair I think they have till next week to decide if they are going ahead so I believe.

Apparently Billy sent a letter to the stewards thanking them for their service and wishing well for the future. Not sure what that represents IF TRUE but it's an ominous sign of something IF TRUE****.

Unless it had their name specifically all over it and they didn't know how to redact info from a paper. I'd imagine anyone caught showing it off, if it is a real thing, would be sacked first thing in the morning.

The fact that we have seen no letter I would rate this as 0.000000001% likely.

I think there would be people he would thank before the stewards, people who work full time at the club day in day out. If there was a letter it would definitely have made it to the public domain and people would have proof it exists.

As far as I know it was a Sport Relief charity excersise.

Not that I thought it was anything more than that, more that Kenwright normally doesn't pass up on a photo op, and Bill Gates is probably one of the biggest names that's been at Finch Farm in a long time.
