Tim Howard

Funny because the back four obviously don't think his experience counts for much

Hopefully his stubbornness with the goalkeeper situation finally sees him sacked, Would be amusing as it's self inflicted

"Tim Howard is part of the Everton badge"

He doesn't half come out with some absolutely shocking stuff sometimes. Whopper.
So logically play crap , and RM will pick you, Tim must have something in his contract with an advertising deal money from a USA firm or something as this is just none sense from RM to make statements like this when his no 2 keeper is showing his no 1 keeper to look crap which he is!
No way should he return end of !

A couple of weeks ago, only Sunderland's keeper had made more saves than Tim Howard. Perhaps there have been a few holes further up the pitch where the balls come in - not surprising with LB and PJ off sick. Unfashionable, but I still have a lot of time for TH, though nothing and no one lasts for ever, not even Gordon West. I think his loyalty to Everton deserves a bit more love yet. Perhaps his high spot was USA in the world cup. I am glad Robles is looking like a keeper. But I fancy Eliot if Newcastle sink.
And another thing, to keep matters in perspective. Call that a beard?

I thought it was bad having to watch a midfield consisting of heitinga and neville but having to suffer through Starjumps is actually giving my eyes aids.

I have began to think it may be contractual. Tim has been well below the standards of a top goalkeeper this season and for the majority of the last. We have lost maybe 10 points this season thanks to some terrible decision making and poor communication. That could have seen us top 4.
All the great sides have a great keeper.
To talk of him as part of the Everton badge is an insult to the legends of Everton and embarrassing.

"Tim Howard is part of the Everton badge." - Roberto Martinez.

So...

1 - What does that even mean?

and:

2. Koff Martinez and shut the hell up.

Howard is the wreaths on the badge. Imagine him doing one of his standard starfish flops when attempting to save a shot; the shape of his arms are represented by the wreaths.

We're not a great side yet. We're getting there, but there are still holes in the lineup. We have no one with even top 4 potential at goalkeeper or left wing, and I'd say that only at striker and the fullbacks do we have anyone who consistently plays at that level yet (Barkley and Deulofeu too, maybe, but I think they're both still a long way off from their best level). We're nowhere near top 4 on current ability, regardless of whether Howard was in goal or not. Maybe if you replaced Howard with De Gea or Cech or Courtois we'd be close. Maybe if we replaced Kone with Mahrez or Bale that would also be true. Maybe if Barry were eight years younger and Stones and Barkley were five years older we'd be leading the league.
