Pienaar definitely is - think it was well documented at the time he re-signed. That seems really steep for McGeady though, surely?

As ive said, he was a "free" transfer, he came from Russia where he was on 75k a week.

Im not quite sure how people think we have a wage bill of 69m, but its certainly not by paying players 35k a week.

Fair enough. From what i'd seen, we paid around £500k for him, so not exactly 'free' (even in the loosest sense of the word). Ridiculous to be paying him that much if it's true though.

He was also paying 8% tax in Russia, he never took a massive tax cut to get 35K a week. He is the biggest traitor in football, maybe the world.

Can't wait to get rid of this Scottish scum from our club.

Well, suppose from the clubs POV, its a total outlay of just over 15.5m, I mean its not like we bought him knowing how utterly terrible he would be, the thinking is, we get a good winger for 4.5 years for 15m or we get a rubbish player who we move on in a year or 2 and get 6-7m for him.

The reality is we are stuck with an utter yard dog who nobody will take off our hands cos his wages are out of reach for the clubs from the SPL.

Meh.
