Why do you not sign Dnipro's keeper Denys Boyko? Last season Dnipro got to Europa League's final mostly to his great games he practically denied Higuian and got many saves. Now Dnipro is falling apart, their best players are leaving or already left. Konoplyanka to Sevilla, Kalinic to Fiorentina. And they are keeping their great form. Boyko and Douglas also want to leave in January transfer window, for him it's better to be Everton - to play against better strikers. And now he is the most talented Ukrainian keeper.

Some last year highlights you can find at youtube:

I think we are interested in him, we've definitely been linked.

Not gonna lie, when you said his name's 'Dennis Boyko' I did not expect him to look like that

Isn't his agent the same as Yarmolenkos? I'm sure this keeper was mentioned a couple of weeks back by someone.
yep, the same :(. But i think, it's still manageable. It's better for our national team goalkeeper to play in EPL rather than Turkish league or whatever it called.

Boyko was rumored by someone a week or two ago according to the echo. This is the type of keeper Everton should look at, Europa experience, not too young or too old and is aggressive. Sell Naismith and use that money towards a keeper like this guy. Couldn't hurt anything anymore than our current keeper. If anything he would add more competition.

We're linked with a 32 year old random Italian keeper (Federico Marchetti, Lazio) in the Gazzetta dello Sport today. Sadly also linked seem to be Juventus and Inter, so even if we are in for him - it won't be easy.

Also I know it's not a very reliable source, but hey ho, rumours are rumours.

Too damn old. Boyko is the right age.

I'll keep saying this as I hope I'm wrong about it.

We aren't signing a new goalkeeper unless Howard is also leaving in the same window. get a story about that and you get your keeper having weight.

why on earth would martinez push robles his cup keeper down to third choice? I mean let's be honest he isn't dropping Howard!

Thing is it would make sense for Howard to leave this window since it's preseason in America. I'm assuming someone over there would want him in their team, even just for marketing reasons.

I agree with you though, it feels like nothing is going to happen and we'll have to put up with him starting until summer at least.
