The old couple who lived opposite us when I was a kid were the first to get a colour telly and cos I was mad about footie they told my Ma to bring me over for Match of the Day in colour as a treat.....that bleedin day of all days. There was murder in ours because I said I didn't want to go knowing the score...but my Ma got her way in the end drinking port with the old girl while I squirmed for the duration and Hughes go hysterical after his goal. Thank God we got ours from DER in time for the World Cup 70 !!
