I'm not too arsed about the penalty decision, because we should never have been in a position to lose. Scoring 3 goals at home ought to be three points in the bag every single time.

And Martinez has said this.

So, he can't defend and gloss over it. He's at fault.

Fully behind the boss, but we were too exposed with a knackered Barry in there with not much around him. Besic would've been a good option. Fully expected that poor tired touch from Barry before the penalty and as with much of the sloppiness from both teams I can't blame them much. 2 games in 3 days is a tough ask.

Gutted. I want our first choice defense back.

Lukaku is an absolute beast and Ross, Barry and Seamus were excellent today. Kone was decent, people are too quick to jump on him. His decision making, especially dwelling to long in possession is bloody odd though when he always has the time to make the right choice.

Lukaku played out of his skin today. Defended, tracked, scored, it was an almost perfect display.

I've never been so mad from a game of football! Conceding 4 goals at home is not on! And to stoke!
When we went to 3-2 I said to my brother- can we just hold on? Just play defensive football? Get the three points ?
The next thing I saw was Coleman bombing forward!!!
Why!? Why can't we just play negative , keep the ball and get the points. Kick to row Z for all I care.

We play great football. But we aren't winners. I like Martinez. But we can't win!!

Let's face it you'd go...especially with Lukaku...he's scored 15 in 19 league appearances and his team could be in 12th tomorrow...there comes a point where he'd acknowledge that playing for another team he could be winning leagues

Why didn't he bring on Besic/Gibbo for Kone once we took the lead? I just can't understand loading the bench with midfielders, then deciding not to bring them on to see out the game. What are they even there for if not to use in this exact moment? No one can defend this level of ineptitude.

You can just picture on one side of the changing rooms- the defensive players, on the other- the attackers. I'm really beginning to miss stability.

Doesn't matter if Stones got the slightest touch on the ball, we should have never got into that position/put ourselves under that pressure. Same for the Joselu goal, nobody ever tries to stop the balls coming in. Stones shouldn't have had to make a last ditch tackle.
