I honestly felt the same as his demeanour is as he isn't bothered, an overall lazy player who is carried by his expert passing and touch.

However statistics suggest otherwise: quite often he is the player in the Arsenal squad who covers the most KM per ninety minutes.

His average distance covered this season up until Octover was higher than the likes of the 'hard working' Sanchez, Willian and Sterling.

I've also been looking for updated stats which I saw on SSN this week, which again highlighted his work ethic upon the pitch.

It's not just a case of running. You have to see if a player is a) running to fight for the ball when your team is not in possession, b) running to create space or c) just running around a lot without any real purpose. Without analysing his game I'd imagine Ozil's more 'b' (and sometimes 'c') than 'a'.

Not sure what his age has to do with anything other than a positive, Juninho at Lyon back in the day would have been good too but this chap could be better.

@jinkyali has said Naismith off to Norwich for £7.5mil and weve heard Martinez say Mirallas and others not getting games (assume Gibson/McGeady) can go so they have a claim for the Euros....

He also says every transfer window we will come out stronger....so i think its guaranteed we will make signings.

Maybe a few kids for the youth team, but I don't see us making any major signings at all

I don't think we'll sell Naismith either to be honest. Injury to Lukaku or Kone and we'll need cover
