Read that and thought of this

The link to Boyko comes via him having the same agent as Yarmolenko and he mentioned that several clubs from England had made contact abut his availability, from what I've seen of him, top notch shot stopper, and someone who is vocal with his defence - shouts his arse off at them after a chance etc, someone mentioned he doesn't start for Ukraine and that's right but also absolutely baffling as he is miles better than the two keepers ahead of him.

Strange one like - bit mixed on it, seen him enough to rate him quite highly, young enough to be a long term answer - 26-27 i think he is, but he's Ukranian and never played in another league so no idea how he'd adjust and if he'd be a success and would likely cost decent money as well, suppose the best thing i can say about him is that in the tougher European games and games vs Kiev, Shaktar etc he normally plays exceptionally well. If we are in for him then if he adjusts he would be a solid improvement over Howard - just don't see it though myself as bringing in a keeper with no experience of the league who may not speak English seems unlikely - especially mid season

IF we are targeting any incomings then the Ukraine/Russian leagues are probably the ones that have more availability and are likelier to sell mid season as they have the winter break coming up from the next weekend till mid march so have time to get the replacements in etc

As for Yarmolenko - a lot i reckon will depend on who Kiev draw on Monday for the knock-out rounds - like with the transfer during the summer IF Surkis thinks they can progress from the game by keeping Yarmolenko then they won't sell, if say the draw Bayern, Barca, Madrid though can see him being sold

@jinkyali have you heard anything recently about Moussa Dembele of Fulham?

I'm told that we have a senior scout going to watch him tomorrow against Brentford and have had others watching him all season.

I actually mentioned him as a possible signing (just my own opinion) on here a few times and would be very happy if we got him.

Got lunked with him a fair amount in the summer as his contract runs out this summer.
Not to sure if he has signed a new contract but hes been in good form for fulham

Backup striker is a must, being able to Rest Rom for the league cup semis whilst still being able to play someone like Austin in the league would allow us to fight on both fronts/protect us in the event of Rom picking up an injury in the season. Add in resting Deloufeu/Kone and playing Mirallas and Lennon would show big depth in our squad.

Naismith will stay Im absolutely sure. He's a man who Slotted hat trick against Chelsea. He is a proper back up.
I really cant see much happening this window. We have pretty good depth and possibility to get a trophy. Martinez will try to avoid too big changes I think.

We have been interested for long while. Suspect Garbutt loan a sweetener

I've missed this. What did he say?
Here's his quotes:

I do not want to lose him but I understand his position. I think if Naisy was 22 years old he would be happy to fight for his place – you have that confidence at that age – but when you are 29 and not playing as often as you would like it is completely different. I will talk to Steven in January and see where we are. If he feels we can offer him something he will enjoy over the next six months then fine; if not we will try to help him out.

Kevin Mirallas needs to think about how not playing for Everton might affect his selection for the Euros next summer. You have to try and help someone in that situation, if he needs to be playing. We have helped players in the past. Nikica Jelavic had it in his head that he wanted to play against Brazil in the last World Cup. You can’t really deny a player an ambition like that.
