Joel isn't the solution. However Tim has deteriorated so quickly recently that I would play Joel until Jan. Then bring Valdes or some one fitting in.
 
joel is the answer..hes young..and he actually kept de gea out of the spanish u21 until he got the move to united then they just played him...players need time..he kept more clean sheets last year in his short stint in goal than howard did all last year..

It would be nice if people didn't straight up make things up. Tim Howard was terrible last season, but he did manage to get seven clean sheets in the league.

still [Poor language removed],not intending to make things up...the period were robles played everyone was frustrated and annoyed martinez brought howard straight back into the team..and the same is happening again
 

Ideal scenario: Joel till Jan/Summer, buy top new GK, sell Howard to the MLS forever.

What will actually happen: Joel in cups till we get knocked out, Howard forever.
 
.......would be good if Robles is 'having a word' with the Manager about giving him a start in the league. The lad has done really well when he's come in, nothing more can be asked of him and the Manager needs to recognise that he deserves a run of games.
