Ancelotti just seems to me like a nice chap who treats players like human beings whilst having great tactical acumen.

I doubt he needs the hassle of liverpool when he's such a highly respected manager. Also of course will know them from managing chelsea and probably just didnt want to tarnish his reputation.

The thing is, Ancelotti is the type of manager who comes into a quality side that is either title contenders or just missing a piece or two to be so. Liverpool are not just a piece or two away from that, to get them to that level would take a tremendous amount of work and investment. It's no surprise he knocked them back.

Ancelotti would more likely, for example, take over at Arsenal, buy a couple players, and win the league.

Its kinda how United have been after Moyes got sacked. They werent much better at all last year with Van Gaaaaaallll and they dont care. Spend hundreds of millions more and are only fractionally better playing worse football, they dont care. The truth hurts them...especially when so delivered with detached pity. So they lash out like kids. Theyre in a heightened state of hysteria now...God knows what they'll be like if/when Spurs turn them over at the weekend....and paradoxically, if they win. The players likewise will be anxious to please...and will probably (and hopefully) repeat the total loss of discipline and naivety they showed in the Palace debacle.

Agreed, hes backtracking alot and has said he doesnt like all the attention.
