Be careful how you interpret his comments, I think he is saying tonight Rodgers has dragged them down from being a club who could win the PL, CL blah blah and stood above all others, things are so bad they are now Spurs but the right choice of new manager (plus another £300m) could restore them to their rightful place (whatever that is).

nah, if you watch it whole he says how it was happening under dalgleish before him and it wasn't because of rodgers.

it was the one where I acknowledged Liverpool as having a half decent season whilst they were winning games whilst we had won 2 league games in 3 months and I was simply saying that Liverpool went having a terrible time of it.

No mention of comparing managers or saying brendan was a good manager at all.
