Nice preview @ijjysmith

Hoping we play a mostly first choice team, especially with six days until our next game. Wouldn't mind seeing Deulofeu start.

Desperately want to win a trophy and this particular honour is missing from our collection.

If we need a full strength team to get past Readings reserves we dont deserve to win a trophy.

Give the back ups a run and hope they grab a chance to shine.

I will turbo-fume if we don't send out a serious XI. One or two changes I can accept, resting Barry etc but if he starts the likes of Leandro, Osman or Gibson then we deserve to go out.

Show the competition, and Reading, some respect and we could very well go on to win it.

We can't afford too many changes, just get the game won and move on. I think it's imperative we play our strongest back-line available and that's the same 4 we played against Swansea. I know lots of people would like to see Mori starting to see what he can do but that is definitely something I think Martinez should refrain from doing. These lower league sides, spurred on by the pumped up crowd, always come at Premier League teams like us all guns blazing for the first 30 minutes and if they get a goal it only spurs them on more. We can't afford for Mori to be thrown in and for his arse to go and end up making silly mistakes. In these types of games it's vital you don't concede soft goals early and end up having to chase the game with a half-strength team, the Barnsley game being the most recent example (I'm sure we could all name dozens of other times during our rotten history in this competition).

It's something we always seem to do in cups, we play away against a team we should be beating but end up being a total shambles defensively and get ourselves knocked out. Please God not tonight, not when so many other PL teams are going to go out in this round. Just keep it professional and get it done, if we're 2 or 3 nil up then feel free to give some players need match-fitness some minutes then.
