By the way, the reaction from all sides and everyone, including the media, both clubs and so on, has been a stark indication to just how badly gash football has become.

I must admit I'm interested until the window closes, but this has soured the whole game for me personally.

That bit has been bothering me. I wish they could be reported to the PL for all the crap they're putting out there to try to snag stones, but i doubt anything's going to be done, if it hasn't been already.


Also, off topic, but is there a way to get my named changed? I don't like having my full name haha

We all do daft things as teenagers, but I can't fathom for the life of me why someone would hurl abuse at a young lad like that when they're a supposedly mature adult.

John stones filmed getting abuse at the game and at a service station after that it brought him to tears.

I heard somewhere else he started crying after a supporter shouted they don't blame him for putting in a request, but we'll never know.

My guess is he just had a very emotionally taxing day. It was probably difficult enough for him to hand in the transfer request, and he probably didn't expect much fight from the club about it. then he's told he has to play anyway, has to share the coach and dressing room with his teammates right after he's said he wants to leave. He returns to the club where he started his career, puts in what may have been his worst performance in a blue shirt, and is then part of an amazing comeback fueled by 3 promising young players whom he's just tried to abandon.

He's a 21 year old who went through all of this in the span of 48 hours...I think a few tears at the end of all that is understandable.

its becoming more common. Feelings of guilt and betrayal.
Wasn't it in the German league were they all had a good cry one week. Fans included?
