John Stones transfer saga

This is interesting - seems like Martinez will want Stones to get rid of his agent pronto
Sounds like it.

I know these kids need an agent, but they're not your friend. They're doing a job, and that is to make money.

Tell people this all the time when it comes to any kind of salesman or real-estate agent. Many people get had by the "nice guy" persona they throw out.

Regardless of the transfer request and offers from Chelsea, the fact that Roberto said 'the authorities' should investigate how Chelsea have approached this just highlights how hacked off Everton are with the rent boys - no deal with them at least.

I can seriously see legal action brewing.

Sky and the London media maybe mate? Don't think its fair to criticise an agent or agency we don't really know tbf. I haven't heard any statements such as nah buv not signing buv even for a million a week buv!

Agents only make big bucks when their players move or sign ludicrous contracts - of course he's going to be doing everything he can to get him to Chelski.

This is the reason I never joined in with the Sterling gloating, yes it was that lot on the receiving end but at the end of the day it sets a bad precedent.

I will be the first to admit, I have been very critical of Martinez over footballing matters, tactics, signings etc. but never as a person.
However tonight I thought he handled the situation impeccably (unlike stones in the match). He spoke really well and I feel he has stuck not only 2 fingers up at stones' agent and Chelsea, but also to the top 4 cartel. Well done Roberto.
