John Stones transfer saga

You blatantly wrote that just after seeing the previous 'Chelsea fans read this forum for reference' post :)

You are right though, Chelsea 'fan' at my work is asking me if he thinks they'll buy Stones or not because Terry and Cahill aren't any good apparently... He didn't even know Zouma's name...
Look at all their online comments, it's all from AFRICANBLUEBLUD1998 discussing "them Hazard mad skillz" and doing photoshops of Ronaldo wearing the Chelsea shirt.

Or in short: blerts.

Never thought the day would come where this Everton board turns down £30m for a CB so kudos to them for that, if it's true.

Hopefully that's the end of it, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Do people actually think he's not for sale?

£34m and he's off unfortunately. Stones wants to go and the club will have to sell.

Although it may well be the case, I'm yet to see a direct quote from Stones saying that he wants to leave.

Shows how much of a joke journalism has become when national papers can write articles about events that have apparently happened without any evidence whatsoever.

What's changed?

Not saying your wrong, just don't think anything's changed at all.

Of course he hasn't publicly.

I obviously haven't got any evidence, just the same as everyone else has no evidence he's staying. All I'm saying is that we've sold our best players, Baines aside, continually for the best part of 25 years now. That probably won't change any time soon. We might hold out for more than 34, but it's looking very likely he's off from what I'm told. I'm not looking to wind anyone up here.

Why stop at 25 years? We've been selling star players all the way back to Tommy Lawton.

He is not for sale.

The club have said it.....the manager has said it.

The key issue is whether he himself wants to go to Chelsea (with all respect to Declan McManus).

In that case the club will probably move him on.

That was before being told by a very reliable source (not anyone on here/previously on here) that things have changed. But things might change again, and he might be wrong. I hope so.

EDIT: Nothing's actually "changed" as far as I'm aware, but the first post was just my "uneducated" opinion on it. The second is just relaying what I've heard.
