John Stones transfer saga

Yes and look at what Spurs did with that bale money panicked , and wasted it!

They did waste it but there's also another lesson in there: Soldado and Lamela.

Two players who were absolutely ace in their leagues, and haven't done it here. In other words, there is a big risk.

The alternative is signing proven Prem players... but then you get quoted £25m for Ashley Williams, £49m for Raheem Sterling etc.

Ultimately, if you have an ace player and you can keep the ace player... then keep the ace player.

Exactly why we should keep all our star players! including John Stones at any price!

They're like that annoying team on Football Manager that keep making bids in increments of 100k every time you click continue, despite you clicking the "not for sale at any price" box.

I guarantee that 95% of those online calling themselves Chelsea fans are from nowhere near West London and have zero affiliation to the club. They're scruffy desperate gloryhunters so it's an insult to any football fans referring to these Chelsea scruffs as fans.

You're forgetting that the other 5% -- these genuine Chelsea fans -- are absolute whoppers too.
