John Stones transfer saga

People have to remember, when Martinez was brought into manage Wigan he had to undergo a massive reduction in spend on transfers and wages.

So, the likes of @MartSlinger saying he will walk are far from it. He will be like Moyes getting paid a good wage to lump it. If he done it at Wigan and spoke highly about Dave " broke a leg at Wembley " Whelan he will do the same here unfortunately.

Tend to agree with @MartSlinger to be fair, probably no need to respond like a condescending tit as well.

He likes to cause problems for most clubs but genuinely appears to have an agenda about us mate, virtually said we shouldn't have gone in for this Holgate kid too as it was double standards on our partlol
I've seen the "double standard" bit said elsewhere, because apparently compared to Chelsea we're a league 1 club. That and the fact that Barnsley were looking to sell.

Heard that.... double standards, chelsea approach EFC about sale of JS to be told he is not sale. EFC contact Barnsley about Holgate to be quoted the sale price....how is this double standard's. He is an utter bell who tries to provoke reaction

Don't think we'll see a Chelsea bid now until close to the deadline. Really hope we don't sell him on deadline day or preferably at all.
To me the Holgate purchase is evidence that we won't sell Stones. If we were planning on it, I think we would have gone for a more experienced player who could immediately slot into the first team, not one for the future.

If he's sold on deadline day it would be the biggest sign of absolute ineptitude in yonks. Probably end up with someone like Emerson Thome or some other ex Wigan pensioner on a free as replacement.

Yup,I would have loved someone to have told him that we are trying to build a decent side the correct way with players such as Stones,Barkley,McCarthy,Coleman,Baines,Lukaku,Jagielka,Mirallas etc,we almost achieved it a couple of years ago,and its not beyond the realms of possibility it can happen again,do these characters not want anyone to break into their beloved SKY cartel?
